For the time being I'm focusing my teaching capacity on lessons at the studio and online, so I'm not travelling to students' homes at the moment. One-to-one piano and voice lessons continue at Deichstraße 32 in central Hamburg and by video.
Who home lessons suit
Busy parents who don't want another drop-off. Adults coming home from work with no energy left for a trip across town. Children who play best on the piano they already know. That is exactly who this format was built for — which is why I'll update this page the moment I can offer it again. Until then, the studio and online lessons are how we can work together.

How home lessons worked
What this format looked like
A home lesson ran exactly like a studio lesson — warm-up, focused work, something creative — just on your own piano. Playing on the instrument you practise on every day genuinely helps: the stool height, the lighting, the page-turns, all the small things that shape how you play at home. That part matters either way, and we can work on it just as well in the studio or over video. The free 25-minute studio trial is unchanged.

Home Lesson Questions
No — home visits are paused while I focus my available teaching capacity on studio and online lessons. I can't name a date for their return, but I'll update this page as soon as that changes.
A free 25-minute trial lesson at the studio on Deichstraße 32 in central Hamburg, or an online lesson by video if getting to the studio isn't practical. Both are one-to-one, and both are available now.
Not for the studio trial — you'll play on my piano. To make real progress you'll eventually want an instrument at home, and a weighted digital keyboard is fine. I'll help you choose one that fits your space and budget before you spend anything.
Regular lessons are 45 minutes. The first trial is shorter — about 25 minutes — just enough to play together and see if it's a good fit.
