Who home lessons are for

Busy parents who don't want another drop-off. Adults coming home from work with no energy left for a trip across town. Children who play best on the piano they already know. If you have an instrument at home and live within Hamburg, I can come to you — and we lose none of the focus of a one-on-one lesson.

We met Ms Ceren about two years ago; thanks to her, my daughter came to love the piano. She is a teacher who can connect with every age group. So glad she touched our lives ❤️🙏Ms Işıl, Melisa's (5) Mother

How home lessons work

The same lesson, in your space

A home lesson is exactly like a studio lesson — warm-up, focused work, something creative — just on your own piano. Playing on the instrument you practice on every day actually helps: we can fix the stool height, the lighting, the page-turns, all the small things that shape how you play at home. I cover Hamburg's central and northern districts, and a trial lesson at home is 25 EUR — free if you'd rather come to the studio first.

Where I teach across Hamburg

Lessons take place at my studio on Deichstraße 32 in central Hamburg. For home lessons I travel across the city — students come to me from these districts and the neighbourhoods around them:

Common questions

Home Lesson Questions

I teach at home across the central and northern districts — Eppendorf, Winterhude, Uhlenhorst, Eimsbüttel, Harvestehude, Rotherbaum, Altona and nearby. Not sure if you're in range? Just ask.

For home lessons, yes — an acoustic piano or a weighted digital keyboard. If you don't have one yet, come to the studio first and I'll help you choose the right instrument.

The trial is 25 EUR at home (free at the studio). Regular home lessons carry a small travel supplement depending on your district — I'll tell you the exact rate once I know where you are.

Regular lessons are 30 minutes. The first trial is shorter — about 25 minutes — just enough to play together and see if it's a good fit.
